This is more than a riding group. It's a brotherhood, a sisterhood, a community. Here's what it takes to be part of The Bestest NK.
To join "The Bestest NK," prospective members must meet the following criteria:
You must be a Private Biker , an individual who owns or regularly rides a motorcycle for personal use, commuting, or recreation. Commercial use (courier/boda boda) does not qualify.
You must own a motorcycle or provide proof of regular riding access.
A valid Class A2 riding license is required for all members. No exceptions.
You must live or work within Karen, Lang'ata, Nairobi West, South C, or provide a compelling reason for joining this specific NK.
Valid motorcycle insurance AND personal medical insurance (SHIF or private cover) must be maintained at all times.
You must commit to the All The Gear All The Time (ATGATT) safety standard , full riding gear for every official ride. Always.
Attend at least one NK activity (ride, meeting, or training) before formal admission and maintain active engagement thereafter.
Agree to comply with the KLNK Bylaws and Code of Conduct, which emphasize discipline, accountability, and respect for all.
Fill out the NK Engagement & ICE (In Case of Emergency) forms. This is your first step to becoming part of The Bestest NK.
Join the "Weaves & Fuel Lounge" for 3 months. Learn the culture, meet the crew, and experience what NK is all about.
Participate in at least one official NK activity , a ride, meeting, or training session , for formal admission into The Bestest NK.
The Lounge is our probationary community space , a 3-month immersive period where prospective members get to know the community, understand our values, attend rides, and demonstrate they embody the Bestest NK spirit before being formally inducted.
